milestone with the grand opening of BZN’s $23-million In-line Baggage Handling
System. This system utilizes state-of-the-art Baggage Screening and Explosive
Detection technology that ultimately transformed baggage handling operations at
BZN. Additionally, we celebrated the grand opening of the BZN Market located in
the B Concourse. The market offers a modern twist on concessions at BZN with
self-serve food and beverage, local retail, and panoramic mountain seating.
Around the airfield, BZN expanded and rehabilitated all three General Aviation
ramps and opened Taxiway G. Expansion also commenced on the north side of the
airport as the first development broke ground paving the way for future airport
growth.
BZN is the seventh busiest
airport in the 7-state Northwest Region of the country (region including
Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington) and the 92nd
busiest airport in the nation in terms of passengers.
