Hangar Land Lease & Construction Information

HANGAR APPLICATION

If you are interested in leasing or constructing a hangar at Bozeman Airport, please complete and return the application below along with the non-refundable application fee to the Airport Authority. The Airport Authority Board meets on the second Thursday of each month and your application must be received at least two weeks prior to the next regular monthly meeting for their consideration.
*Please note at this time there is no land available for lease. Hangar applications are not currently being accepted.

MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

If you are interested in operating at BZN in a commercial manner, there is a minimum set of standards you must meet. Please review the following PDF regarding aircraft sales or rentals, maintenance and repairs, flight training, fuel dispensing, charter operations, commercial flying services, and flying clubs.

The Gallatin Airport Authority has developed updated DRAFT Minimum Standards for Commercial Aeronautical Service Providers at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The existing “Minimum Operating Standards Fixed Based Operators at Bozeman International Airport”  were developed in 1991 and new airport minimum standards are necessary to address the evolving airport and regulatory environment. Engaging airport stakeholders is an important part of the development of the new airport minimum standards to solicit input and answer questions. As such, beginning October 2, 2026, the Authority is seeking public comment on this DRAFT document. 


Written comments may be submitted to Chief Operating Officer Chris Pomeroy at chris.pomeroy@bozemanairport.com by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026.
