Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport Concludes Another Year of Momentum Serving Over 2.8 Million Passengers in 2025

BOZEMAN, MT (January 13, 2026) Another extraordinary year has taken flight at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). Passenger numbers continued to soar and significant advancements in airport development and construction are underway further positioning southwest Montana as a hub for growth and connectivity.
 
Throughout 2025, BZN welcomed a record-breaking 2,809,419 passengers which is a 6.3% increase over the 2,642,707 recorded in 2024. This increase reflects our airport’s vital role in providing reliable and efficient air travel for our market’s demand.

Tower operations (landing or takeoff) at BZN decreased -2.1% to 118,030 compared to 120,578 in 2024. Corporate landings increased 9.1% to 9,794 compared to 8,974 in 2024. There were 343 general aviation custom clearances handled at BZN’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office throughout the year compared to 241 during 2024.

A tremendous amount of work has gone into BZN’s multi-phase, $190-million-dollar East Terminal Expansion Project. The project continues to progress on schedule and under budget. With the structure now taking shape, this milestone marks an exciting new chapter in the continued growth, modernization, and future development of our airport.

Critical navigational aid improvements were completed this year as well as extending BZN’s main runway 328’. These enhancements, along with additional navigational aid enhancements in 2026, will help pave the way for improved airfield efficiency and capability.

Air service developments coming in 2026 include daily summer service to Phoenix, AZ (PHX), summer Saturday service to Long Beach, CA (LGB) and Austin, TX (AUS), and spring break Saturday service to Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL).
