Bozeman Yellowstone Int'l sets all-time record at 1.94 million passengers in 2021
BOZEMAN, MT (January 11, 2022). Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) handled an all-time record 1,940,191 passengers during 2021. This is an increase of 118.1% over COVID impacted 2020 and a 23.3% increase over the previous record of 1,573,860 set in 2019.

In 1996, the year Larry began working for the Gallatin Airport Authority, BZN handled just under 400,000 passengers, the airport had no tower and the terminal had just been expanded from 40,000 square feet to approximately 60,000 square feet. Today, we will see 2021 handle just under 2,000,000 passengers, an air traffic control tower handling approximately 117,000 annual operations and the terminal is now over 270,000 square feet. Local Flight School and Instructor Named Regional Winners by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA)
The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) has named Ridgeline Aviation as the 2021-22 Best Flight School in the Northwest Mountain Region and Summit Aviation's Jess Padden as the 2021-22 Best Flight Instructor in the Northwest Mountain Region.
