Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is pleased to announce that United
Airlines will increase summer seasonal service between Bozeman and New
York/Newark by 275% and will offer daily service between June 7th
and September 8th. These additional flights will provide easy
passenger access to/from New York/Newark with convenient connections to other
destinations within United’s international network.
United Airlines will operate these flights using Boeing
737-700 aircraft in a three-class configuration.

...Bozeman Yellowstone Int'l Sets 8th Consecutive Passenger Record in 2017 with Nearly 1.2 Million Passengers Traveling Through Montana's Busiest Airport
BOZEMAN, MT (January 10, 2018). Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) handled 1,199,537 passengers during 2017. This is up 8.3% compared to 2016 and is the eighth consecutive year of record breaking passenger traffic at BZN. Annual passenger traffic at BZN has increased by more than 500,000 passengers since 2010 and BZN now accounts for 30% of all airline passengers traveling to and from Montana.

Gallatin Airport Authority Organizes Operations Department for Continued Airport Growth
BZN will handle nearly 70% more passengers in 2017 than in 2010, growing from 720,000 passengers to 1,200,000 passengers in just seven years. The significant growth over this period as well as expected growth in the coming years created an opportunity to reorganize our Operations Department to better serve the needs of the Airport, its passengers and tenants.
Financial Audit Complete for Fiscal Year 2017
Gallatin Airport Authority’s financial audit for the year ended June 30, 2017 was completed this month by the independent audit firm Holmes & Turner, PC. A clean (unmodified) opinion was issued once again by the auditors, and no findings were noted. Envoy Awarded American Airlines’ Ground Handling at BZN
American recently awarded Envoy the ground handling contract for Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). Envoy is scheduled to transition BZN from American’s current third-party handler on Dec. 14.

Multi-Use Parking Garage Contract Awarded
The Gallatin Airport Authority has awarded a $28.6 million dollar contract to Sletten Construction for construction of the four level, 1,100 stall fully covered Multi-Use Parking Garage of which 90% will be occupied by the seven car
rental brands operating in the terminal with the remaining 10% for
premium pay parking.
Construction is expected to begin in late December with a projected completion date of June 1, 2019.
BZN Celebrates 75 Years
In 1940, aviation had started to become a staple in communities. In Montana, airline service had been in the state for over a decade with cities like Miles City, Butte, Billings, Missoula, Great Falls, Helena, Lewistown and West Yellowstone all having airline service in 1940. Meanwhile the residents of the Gallatin Valley watched as these airliners flew over the Valley between Butte and Helena. That needed to change.
