Airport Board approves new airport name

The Gallatin Airport Authority approved changing the name of Gallatin Field to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport at Gallatin Field at their regular board meeting on December 8, 2011. The new airport name will be phased into use at the airport over time.

2010 Sets all-time passenger boarding record at Gallatin Field

Gallatin Field Airport recorded its busiest year ever with 365,210 passengers boarding airline flights in 2010. This represents a 6.6% increase over 2009 and nearly 14,000 passengers more than the previous record set in 2008.

United Airlines has announced they are adding daily non-stop service from Gallatin Field Airport (BZN) to both San Francisco and Los Angeles for the summer. Horizon adds non-stops to Seattle effective June 7, 2010

Horizon Air has announced an additional two daily non-stops to Seattle/Tacoma beginning June 7, 2010 for a total of three daily non-stops. With these additions, all Horizon flights to and from Seattle/Tacoma will operate non-stop. 2009 Passenger Boardings Down 2.4%

Gallatin Field Airport recorded its second busiest year ever with 342,714 passengers boarding airline flights in 2009. While boardings were down 2.4% from the record setting 2008, Gallatin Field Airport fared well compared to other airports across the nation.
